Learn to Swim for FREE at TLS Fitness ! (and the benefits of Swimming)
Swimming offers something no other aerobic exercise does: the ability to work your body without harsh impact to your skeletal system. When the human body is submerged in water, it automatically becomes lighter.
This means that the pool provides an ideal place to work stiff muscles and sore joints, especially if you're overweight or suffer from arthritis.
In its recommendation for the right types of exercise for people with arthritis, the Arthritis Foundation suggests those that stretch muscles, those that strengthen muscles, and those that provide an aerobic workout. A few laps in the pool combine all three!
At TLS Fitness, we recognize all the benefits of swimming, hence we provide a swimming pool and give free group swimming lesson to all members on every Wednesday 8pm & Thursday 7pm. Beginners take about 10-15 hours of Group swimming lessons to able to swim independently. Should you decide to learn to swim in one-to-one class or during other hour at your choice, speak to us to find out the additional tuition fees.
